Information About Permissions
LEPL National Food Agency issues 2 types of permits: 1. Import and transit of products subject to veterinary control; 2. Import of products of plant origin subject to phytosanitary control.
Products subject to veterinary control - all kinds of animals, products of animal origin and raw materials, animal feed (food additives), biological, medicinal and other chemical-pharmaceutical preparations used in veterinary medicine.
Products of plant origin subject to phytosanitary control - products, materials and objects subject to phytosanitary quarantine, through which it is possible to spread quarantine organisms.
Applying for a permit and obtaining a permit is only possible electronically. Permission for import and transit of products subject to veterinary control is issued for a period of 1 month.
Permits for the import of products of plant origin subject to phytosanitary control are issued for a maximum period of 6 months.

20 working days - 50 GEL
5 working days - 100 GEL
1 working day - 150 GEL.
Issuance of a permit for the import of products of plant origin subject to phytosanitary control:
20 working days - 50 GEL
5 working days - 100 GEL
1 working day - 150 GEL.
